MBA Travels to Panama

As teachers at Metropolitan Business Academy (MBA), we are proud to work with students who consistently rise to challenges and achieve greatness. As a New Haven Public School, MBA serves a diverse student population with a wide range of needs. Part of ensuring our student's success involves making learning real: whether this means having them volunteer in our own community, investigate issues in their daily lives, or take them to places they have never experienced before. This is why over the past few years, we have worked hard to organize a culturally immersive travel program that provides our students with life-changing opportunities.
Our students are already working hard. They organized two successful car-washes (our most recent one pictured above) and are planning more fundraisers throughout the fall and winter. Still, international travel requires significant fundraising. This is where YOU CAN HELP!
As advisors for MBA's Panama Tour Group, we are seeking your financial support for our week-long tour of Panama. On this tour, 12 students will travel to Panama City and Chitré, visiting museums, research centers, and local farms. They will be immersed in a Spanish-speaking country as they experience the history, economy, culture, and biodiversity of Panama. This will take place in April 2018 through Education First Tours.
With your support, we will be able to fund transportation to and from the airport, tour expenses in Panama, and help lower the per-student cost of the trip. Please help us provide our students with a life-changing experience!
