Mayann's Kick Cancers Butt Fund

Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Mayann or May for short. Before we get into on why I started this fund page, I'll give you a little history on how this all started.

On Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 I went into urgent care for what I just thought was a persistent cough I had for a couple of weeks that needed antibiotics. The urgent care doctor heard a predominant heart murmur, did an EKG test, and directed me to the emergency department. After a nice 10 minute drive and a short stroll to the emergency department, my whole life changed. Another EKG test, a chest X-ray, and a CT scan was done and the emergency doctor advises that I'd need to be admitted into the hospital. The mass was huge and looks like it may be wrapping around one of the arteries, creating the heart murmur. The next day I was ordered a pet scan to get a 360 view of the mass that was growing inside me. Thursday March 30th, a biopsy was done on to find out what kind of mass it was. There was two grueling days of waiting for the result and on Saturday April 1st I was fooled into thinking I'd be going home. Instead a preliminary diagnosis of lymphoma shook up my world. The same day a picc line was inserted on my right arm to get me started on chemo therapy ASAP. On April 3rd, I was fully diagnosed with stage 2X Non Hodgkin's lymphoma. The X is just a fancy letter meaning large mass. The mass was the circumference of a cantaloupe. Huge right? For me finding it all out was greatly unexpected. The day after I started my first cycle of four 22 hour bags of chemo therapy. That all sounds so crazy right? Chemo definitely sucks but I'm kicking this cancers ass and have a positive attitude to make it to the end. I have a regimen of 6 cycles of chemo, 5 days in the hospital as a patient receiving chemo and 2 weeks at home for recovery. I'm now going into my third cycle, yay for me but since being admitted in he hospital I've been out of work. Even with insurance, treatment is still expensive.

So, I've come to you all to ask for help in helping me pay for my hospital bills. All proceeds will go to pay for my medicines and hospital stays when I'm in treatment. But that's not all, to make this fun for everyone, for every $500 raised, I will post a video of me singing a song of your choice. Mention a song when you donate and I will have my family and friends choose a song for me to sing. This greatly helps me overcome my fear of singing in public and keeps me in a positive attitude to beat this cancer! Any contribution absolutely helps so please donate, like, share, repost, and spread the word that I'll sing you all song for every $500 you've raised.

P.S. I already have butterflies of the first video I'd be posting :)
