T&W Mayor's Charity Appeal 2017/18

Donation protected

This year, the Mayor, Cllr Stephen Reynolds is supporting Severn Hospice (Telford) as his chosen charity.

During his year in office, he will not only be fundraising for this charity but will also be aiming to promote the invaluable work of the Hospice and the services they provide to the local community.

Severn Hospice (Telford) are an independent charity and not part of the NHS.  They provide specialist care and support free of charge for people who are living with complex and progressive illnesses, aiming to sustain the quality of life and providing relief from pain and other distressing symptoms. Incurable illnesses affect whole families and so they offer the same loving support, help and counselling to their families, friends and carers.

The Severn Hospice first opened their doors in 1989 and the free care they provide has only been possible thanks to the generous support received from the local community through fundraising activities and donations.

Their mission is to provide the best care and a better life for people living with an incurable illness and when a cure is no longer possible, care always is.

With your support Severn Hospice (Telford) can continue to ensure care and support is provided to more and more families facing incurable illnesses across the Borough every day.

Please donate today as every penny really does help!
