Trip to South Asia: World Horizons

Greetings and salutations!
My name is Maya Williams, I am completing my senior year of college at East Carolina University (BSW in Social Work and BA in English), and I am raising money to serve the Lord in South Asia this summer!
After interning with Hillside Missions this past summer (see video attached of me with fellow intern Nick Pellman pre-internship, and blog of the whole internship experience in this link here: https://flighty101.wordpress.com/hillside-missions-summer-internship/
), serving the Lord by serving refugees in the Richmond area, I learned that I wanted to continue serving and continue to get out of my comfort zone.
While in South Asia, I will be working with World Horizons, a partner organization Hillside works with in sending people into missions, in their art gallery, teaching children English as a second language, and pursuing ministry.
I will be using the funds to pay for my travel and stay in India for seven weeks over the summer. My goal is to raise a total of $2700, and I have raised $1,000 so far. The goal listed above ($1700) is how much I have left to raise.
My goal in life is to serve people well and to serve people creatively, especially people who are totally different from me in regards to ethnicity, religion, and so much more. Going to South Asia this summer will help me do just that.
