Leap Of Faith

Aloha 'ohana, as many of you know I've made a choice to intervene as a party in the TMT Contested Case. This is way out of my comfort zone to ask for help, and I'm taking a leap of faith. I knew the sacrifice involved and every second has been a tremendous honor and privilege, but have come to a point where our personal financial resources cannot sustain me much longer going forward without having severe consequeces to my keiki and our household. We do have our own business which my husband and I are the only employees of, and the demands of the hearings schedule has us on our knees scrambling to keep the business afloat being able to only work one day a week, (cause as all of you manawahine know, we women make it happen) and without me coordinating and setting the schedule and interacting with our clients on a daily basis it has almost come to a screeching halt. I'm asking for kokua in raising funds for things directly relating to my continued ability to stand for the mauna. My laptop is old and is unable open files sent by newer programs, nor can it retrieve the information off of the thumb/jump drives, so that is the first thing I'd like to purchase. Some of the other things would be continuous supplies of printer paper, printer ink, gas going to and from Waikoloa and Hilo, and possibly accomodations as we will have hearings Monday through Thursday for the rest of this month and November. Any leftover monies, if any I will use for other expenses that may arise and I believe you all know and trust that I will use any funds wisely. I know times are hard for everyone, just trying to survive here in our Hawai'i, so I ask with a humble heart, gratitude for all the blessings I already have, and knowing that what I have is always enough whether I raise these funds or not, and I extend my deepest mahalo to all of you for even taking the time to read this. E kala mai for "the goal". I didn't want to put a number there but it was required and really, I would be so grateful for any kokua.
