Matt's Championship Travel Funding

After a strong 2016 season, 2017 is shaping up to be even better! I have three major races on my schedule, none of which are in the Midwest (within driving distance). This means the funds for traveling are going to add up quickly. I don't have a sponsorship or grants, like a number of the other US racewalkers. I have to pay for it all out of my own pocket.

With races in San Diego, Philadelphia, and Sacramento, the opportunity to race against the other top walkers in the US, is going to be exciting! Plus, with a great time and place in San Diego and/or Philadelphia, I could be on my way to Lima, Peru, for the Pan Am Racewalk Cup!
