Matthews continued recovery

Matthew was airlifted to St Josephs Children’s Hospital Sunday August 4th after being hit by a car on his bicycle.  He sustained injuries to his his head resulting a severe bleed in his brain (epidural hematoma) and a fractured skull. He underwent surgery Monday morning to stop the bleeding.  As of right now he has decreased cognitive capabilities possibly due to seizure activity, and is requiring constant care for daily tasks. He has a long road ahead of him for recovery, but a large community of people that love him and are rooting for him.

I am starting this fundraiser to ease the strain on Matthews family and allow them to focus on caring for him and his siblings instead of all of the typical financial burdens . I would like to help raise money for them to help cover cost of medical bills, being out of work to care for Matthew, and of course to get Matt a new set of wheels to look forward to riding once he's back to his usual self.
