We are supporting the Matthew 25 movement of Southern California, a community of Christian leaders who pledge to "stand with and defend the vulnerable in the name of Jesus." www.matthew25socal.org
Matthew 25 is providing humanitarian aid to migrants and refugees fleeing from crises in Central America and supporting the Christian leaders who are assisting them on the journey. Church leaders from the United States are currently in the Puebla area of Mexico assisting the local church in providing hospitality for the migrant caravan from Central America.
On December 4-6, Leslie Draper & Emilie Carpenter will be joining church leaders who are taking day trips to the Tijuana border to accompany and support migrant families. Out of the $3000 raised, $1000 will go to travel expenses for Leslie & Emilie and $2000 will go directly to Matthew 25 to provide humanitarian aid.
We need to raise the funds by Sunday, December 2nd. Thank you very much for your generosity!
