Matt and Becky Hartke House Fire

You never know when something as tragic as a fire will hit your family.  Today, one week before Christmas and my Daughter and family have lost everything to a devasting house fire.  

I think that Lana Harke (Matt's Mom) described it best:

Thanking God for His divine protection over my family! Matthew just called and said, "We're okay mom, but the house is on FIRE!!" I'm like, WHAT??? And he said they were just loading the kids in the car when he heard a crashing noise and he looked back to see billows of fire and smoke in the apartment below them! He went and kicked down the door to see if anyone was in there and he couldn't for the flames and smoke but he thinks everyone is okay. Meanwhile, Becky called the fire dept... Pray for those involved for the Lord's provision and peace.

While insurance will be helping, it by no means will cover everything they’ve lost, and will likely take awhile to come together. They need to replace their personal effects, buy clothes, computers, and books and get their lives back on track.  Becky and Matt are overwhelmed by love and support from friends and family, so any donation, big or small, will be incredibly appreciated as they both try to cope with this.
