Mathew Family Fire

As many of you already know, our family has been temporarily displaced as the result of a home fire that occurred on Sunday September 2, 2018.

We are beyond blessed that everyone is safe and we are extremely thankful that no one was hurt especially neighbors, good samaritans, and all the first responders that managed to contain the fire to our house and make sure no one else was hurt or put into harms way.
The realization set in yesterday that this will be a long, arduous, and unfortunately costly process. My aim as a father, husband, and fur father is first and foremost to be thankful for all those that risked their lives to help us out without concern for their own safety.
So thank you to EVERYONE that was involved in search and rescue efforts. We are still trying to locate he good samaritans that saved our dog, so please any information there would be valuable to us.
Now that we are safe, our next order of business is to try and get our family back into our home as soon as possible and realistically my aim is to get our family back in by our daughter Lyanna's first birthday in March 2019. At the moment, I'm praying that is a realistic goal.
I am most humbly and graciously asking for assistance in getting our family and 5 month old relocated and resituated. It's going to be extremely hard for us emotionally, as we were so looking forward to creating first memories for our daughter Lyanna over the holidays in our home, but we understand that its the people that make memories. Our aim is to make sure Lyanna and our dog, Dobby, do not remember this tragic event, but instead we can create memories and surround them both with love and greatfulness in temporary housing with family and friends.
