Benefit for Mary Lou Dorchester

Donation protected
In April of 2017, Mary Lou Dorchester was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the Colon. Since then she has had two surgeries and has not been able to work. Her expenses are increasing and will continue to increase as she begins chemotherapy.

Mary Lou and her late husband Danny Dorchester who are lifelong residents of Carthage raised their daughter, Meredith and son, Joel in Carthage. She is now the proud grandmother of a granddaughter and three grandsons.

Mary Lou and Danny always contributed to the Carthage community whenever they could. One example is, since the inception of the Turkey Bowl 30 years ago, they helped make it a successful event so that local cancer patients can get help with their mounting bills.

Mary Lou’s family and friends are now trying to help her as she has done for others. We are hoping she can concentrate on getting healthy, and beating cancer with the treatments she will be getting to fight the cancer.

For those of you sending thoughts and prayers from afar, we have established this page. Our family greatly appreciates any contributions you can make whether it is monetary or moral support.

Thank you from our family to yours and supporting Mary Lou in her fight.
