Marycare Health Center: the dream continues...

Thank you for turning a dream into a reality and compassion into action.

On February 13, 2015 we gathered at Yale University St. Thomas More's Golden Center in the spirit of compassion and joy. Through your generous charitable donations we were able to complete Phase 1 in the building of the Marycare Health Center in Ejemekwuru, Nigeria by raising over $15,000.

Now for Phase 2 of our mission. We are seeking donations to furnish the clinic with hospital beds, medical equipment and supplies to be shipped to Ejemekwuru for the grand opening December 2015.

Please consider giving to this worthy cause to bring desperately needed medical assistance to the people of Ejemekwuru .

With your support we will touch the hearts and change the lives of so many and I thank you.

Help Marycare Save a Few More Lives in the Isolated Distric of Ejemekwuru!
I just came back from a charity mission in Ejemekwuru Nigeria where Marycare has just built a brand new clinic. It can be demoralizing to have a building sitting full of promise, but promise only; not to mention the practical need of helping a sick person today, tomorrow and the next. On one of the days we test-run the health center, the doctors and nurses saw more than 70 patients. It broke my heart that due to lack of medical supplies and equipment, some of the folks who came were referred out to a faraway government hospital where the doctors have been on strike for several months. That is sad. The people of Ejemekwuru and their surrounding neighbors have waited long enough.
Help us provide the life-saving medical supplies and equipment by donating today. We are so close to ready. It is doable. Let's do it.

In 1966 Senator Robert Kennedy said in a speech in Africa, "each time someone stands to improve the life of others he sends forth a tiny "Ripple of Hope" and those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest wall of oppression". Add your generous donation and give health care hope to many.
