Maryalice’s Surgery Fund

Donation protected
Next week, Maryalice and her mom and Dad (Emily and Erik) will travel to Seattle to have the first of many major orthopedic surgeries to allow her leg bones to grow more evenly. Maryalice has a rare disease called Ollier’s that fills her bones with cartilaginous tumors, causing deformity and bone fragility. She has broken her right tibia twice in the past year and this two-part surgery will address that. She will be in a hip spica cast for four weeks, then will travel again to Seattle for the second surgery and will be in a long leg cast for another four weeks. They will have four total trips to Seattle for this surgery alone.

I am asking for contributions to make these coming months a little easier for them. Erik will be missing multiple days of work and Emily homeschools all four of their kids. This is a huge financial burden for them as they are covering all of their travel costs out of pocket.

Please keep Maryalice and the Christie family in your prayers. She is such a brave little warrior but this will be a very challenging time for them as a family.
