In support of Mary Stella's battle against AML leukemia.
On November 11, 2018 little Mary, 1 year old, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. In the past week, she has undergone two bone marrow biopsies, spinal tap procedures and blood transfusions. Mary has already started chemotherapy and is responding well! She will continue her treatments at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. As you can imagine, the next six to twelve months will be unimaginably difficult for Mary and her family.
Mary's parents, Lisa and Luke, also have a three and a half-year-old son, Lew, who is unable to be at the hospital with them. Family, have come together to support Luke, Lisa, Mary and Lew during this challenging time, but there is only so much they can do on their own. The costs of dealing with this, medical bills, traveling, lodging, missing work, and a million other things, is overwhelming. We are asking for support from friends, co-workers and extended family to help alleviate some of the financial burden that Luke and Lisa will be facing during and after Mary's treatment. Any amount of money can help and in addition we ask for your prayers to help everyone through this and to get Mary healthy again.
