Momma's Breast Cancer Treatments

Donation protected
Hello Friends and Family,
I wanted to tell you about my mom. She is one of the strongest women I know. My mom grew up in Michigan and made her way to St. Louis via Texas. She has raised three kids, by herself (if you have met my brothers and me, you know this is no easy feat).  My mom somehow managed to put us through private school, provide a home, always kept us fed and clothed, put up with our trouble making, put her dreams of going back to school on hold, worked at jobs she hated in order to go on vacations and visit our family across the U.S. and even into BC, Canada. My mom held me to a higher standard while always telling me I would go to college and most definitely she supported me and my dreams, even when I didn't believe in myself. She never stopped fighting to give my brothers and I a better life.
Somehow, she took us to sports games, piano lessons and still made dinner and helped us with homework-when I would let her :). My mom worked nights  and 3-11pm shifts as a psyche nurse for years and functioned on very little sleep in order to take care of me and my brothers. Honestly, I don't know how she did it. I marvel at the fact that she didn't kill me and my brothers and in fact, we turned out pretty well.
I'm working in a career that I love and living in a beautiful city, while my brothers are married and persuing fulfilling careers as a firefighter and a soldier. Already a grandmother to a beautiful little grandaughter, my mom looks forward to the next addition to the family in April, Harrison, her first grandson.
All of these blessings would not be possible if my mom had not sacrificed and gave us the gifts that we have now. However, today, my amazing and beautiful mom just informed me that the rest of her hair is falling out from the chemo. Luckily she caught the breast cancer early, but is still experiencing all the fun side effects of cancer treatments that will lead to surgery and then on to Radiation. My mom will never tell you this, but insurance is not covering a lot of her treatments and we could use your support to help her get through this trying time. Anything is appreciated as it's difficult to work while going through the treatment and it takes a long time with 12 treatments of chemo every three weeks even before we get to the surgery phase.
Please help me be there for her and show her how much she is loved and that we can care for her just as much as she has and does care for us all.
