Marshall 's Melanoma Mindfunk

Hello, I'm Teresa Pence.  I've known Marshall Compton since we met at Burning Man 2008.  He has always been fully involved in community and really enjoys the burn.  He helped build the Shiva Vista performance stage, the 2011 temple, and the 2012 man base just to name a few things.  He has been a longtime fantastic carpenter, is a rock and gem hound and loves people.  To say he's a super outdoorsy guy is an understatement (he's an Eagle Scout too!).

Marshall has been fighting melanoma cancer for the last 3 years.  This last year has been the hardest.  It moved to his groin and most recently he had brain surgery to remove a large melanoma tumor.  He will also be undergoing pin-point radiation for 5-6 other spots found there.  

It probably goes without saying that he is unable to work.  With the pain and swelling he is experiencing, there is just no way.  Personal bills pile up and that stress is something I'd love to see him get some help with.

If you can, please help him with any donation possible.  He has been fighting so hard and I would love to see him get a little relief.  Anything will help and it would mean so much to me and him.  He tries to ask for help but it's never comfortable as we all know, I'm sure.

He's still smiling and joking through this process as much as possible.  Let's help him keep that up!  Thank you so very much.
