Dylan and I were complete strangers before we were set-up by our co-workers in 2013. I thank every day that we met because since that day life has been an absolute wonderful adventure.
We made the first leap in 2014 when we moved in together and added the coolest cat to our little family. Life is great!
We both found our career paths, Dylan working with California State Parks to build handicap accessibility trails and I work for Mendocino Coast Hospital for the Oncology department as Medical Assistant.
In 2016, I saw a Fertility specialist as things weren't "happening" as we expected them to. I learned that at 23 years young, there was reason to believe my eggs were damaged and if I wanted to have a chance at creating a family, that my time was running short.
We started treatments in August 2018 and have undergone 3 Artificial Inseminations assisted with ovarian stimulation medications. All three procedures have now failed and we are approaching the last effort before having to face-off with IVF.
We are reaching out to our Family, Friends and Whoever may have the heart to help us with this next treatment.
Unlike the previous methods, this next treatment will require injection medications that are much more expensive and will hopefully produce more eggs to increase the chance of releasing a "good" egg. Due to the intensity of these medications, there is additional monitoring through office visits, blood work and ultrasounds.
Infertility treatment is considered "elective" by most health insurances including my own. They will not cover a single dime of office visits, blood work, imaging, medications or treatment therapy.
If you can, we would be ever so grateful for your financial contribution to our dream of having a family of our own. We have exhausted our savings and credit cards from the financial burden of the last 3 treatments. We cannot proceed with this next treatment until we have the funds needed as all fees are due at time of visit.
Asking for financial help is not something Dylan and I like to do but every dollar donated is one step closer to making our dream a reality.
We are so thankful for the thoughts, prayers, love and support that have poured in over the last few months and couldn't have done it without the help of our amazing family.
