Marooned in New Jersey

Dear friends,

It's been a difficult year for us.  I'd prefer not to go into details but between a tree falling on the previous car, health problems that are hopefully behind us and unprecedented additional family expenses we have barely managed to stay afloat financially.  We managed to get away for a week to visit my parents and have the kids enjoy some time by the beach.  About a half an hour from our destination the car stalled for the last time...

We are now unable to go anywhere since we cannot fit into anything less than a mini-van.   We are also too low on funds to buy another car at this time so we are hoping that our family, friends and other kind souls would be willing to contribute to get us back on the road.
