Dear Everyone,
My name is Marni Castor. I am a 52 year old burn survivor. When I was 3 years old I was burned on 70% of my body. I have had over 140 surgeries in my life.
25 years ago I under went 10 major surgeries with a renowned surgeon in New York city, he changed my life tremendously. I went from being made fun of everyday of my life, and now hardly anyone notices.
In October I went back to see him, and he wants to reconstruct my lips and use new procedures like laser on my scarred tissue from the burns, among other things, depending on how much we can raise.
I need on the low end $25,000 and if we do everything my surgeon wants $50,000. Unfortunately my insurance will not cover any of it. I would love to live the rest of my life looking normal. I appreciate everyone that helps me. Thank you, so much for your time.
