Markiest Lucky's tragedy assistance

This is a story of a life cut far too short, way too soon;  It's a story of love, courage, patience and peaceful kindness.  This story might have been a fairy tale love story, and for a while, it was! Katie and Lucky met and fell in love; she opened her heart,  he held hers.  Lucky then became Brantley's "bonus dad", a man who took a sweet and funny little red-headed boy, loved him, grew and encouraged him.   Through Lucky's love, Brantley grew to read, made his first 100 on a spelling test last Friday, striving to be just like his "other daddy." Brantley posed in pictures just like his other daddy, posing so that he could be ever so cool.  

Lucky and Katie made dreams together, created goals, built a home that was filled with kindness, laughter and love.  This last Saturday, January 12th, was a day "filled with laughter and fun; one of the funnest days ever....but then, "every day with Lucky was filled that way."   "It was so much fun, until tragedy hit.

Saturday, evil found Lucky.  It found his sweet family, his momma and daddy, his brothers and sisters; his friends and it found Katie and Brantley too.  Evil found all of us who loved, adored and respected Markiest Lucky.  Evil didn't just stop with Markiest.  It traveled up a few blocks, destroyed another family's safety and happiness, then turned left, traveling quickly,  car jacking and terrifying someone else.

Lucky's life calling was helping others, building up those people around him, loving his "little family" that was being created by three people in love.   This was what he was doing when we were robbed of our sweet man with the mischievous grin.

We are trying to help alleviate financial hardship in paying for Markeist' funeral for his sweet parents, family and Katie too.  Nobody would expect to bury their 24 year old son.
