Mark Hummeldorf's Family Donation

Tax deductible
On Wednsday, November 22, 2017, we lost a great man in a tragic traffic accident.  Mark E Hummeldorf was a former member of Local 574 and a current member of Parris Island Fire and Emergency Services. Before he started his career as a firefighter, he served his country as a United States Marine. Most importantly, Mark was a beloved husband and loving father.

Mark was an Advanced Firefighter with Rescue 1 C-shift while with Savannah. He worked hard to become a Rescue Technician Level III with rescue certifications in Rescue Diver, Confined Space, Structural Collapse, Trench, and Rope among many others. Back at the station, Mark was well loved and respected. He had a great sense of humor that brought the laughter out in people, even on their bad days.

Mark is survived by his wife Angie, his son Chase, and many other family members.  Angie is also expecting another child.  To help with this very tragic time, The Savannah Professional Firefighters Association is taking donations, through our charity foundation, to give to his family.  It will be a tough road ahead for everyone that loved him, but please, lets help out as much as we can.  Anything helps! Thanks.

We also will be taking checks outside of gofundme.  Checks can be written to the Savannah Firefighters Union Foundation and mailed to P.O. Box 15489, Savannah, GA 31416.

Please remember:  100 percent of the donations our charity receives, will go to Mark's family!
