I’m Marjan Farsad, a visual artist and songwriter. I was born in Iran and now live in Brooklyn, New York, where I work full-time as an animator. In addition to writing songs, I create visual art and animations for my music. Most of my songs are about love, life, loss, and memories. I like combining my skills to produce new and interesting music, and toured the U.S. and Canada with a music/animation show in 2018.

Why Support Me? People are always asking me when I’ll be releasing new songs. I want to make more music, but the independent artists market doesn’t provide enough income to cover album production costs. I chose to remain independent so I can remain true to my art, but that comes with a high price. I am humbled to be in a position where I have to request support from people who like and follow my work. Anything you can contribute to my next album would be deeply appreciated.
