Marissa Has lost her sparkle

Donation protected
On Jan.12, 2017 Marissa was diagnosed with a Meningioma-Brain tumor.  After losing her peripheral vision.  The tumor is sitting at the base of her brain on top of her carotid arteries and pressing on her optic nerve.
She is currently awaiting her surgery, scheduled March 21.  This entails 5 days in ICU and total of a week in the hospital.  She will have 3 months off for recovery, which entails limited activity.
This medical issue was discovered just as Marissa was starting her new job at Mission hospital.  Her benefits begin March1, 2017 but she has no leave time accumulated.  Her status at  Kaiser has no leave time wither since she is a per diem employee.
We know many people are concerned and have expressed they would like to show their love and support to Marissa during this challenging time.  All donations will gratefully go toward practical and recovery expenses.
Mike, Erin and Jake send deep and heartfelt thank you for both their families, friends and collegues who love and support Marissa.  We are blessed to have such wonderful and supportive humans surrounding us.
Thank you and God Bless.
