Mario's Cancer Fight

As many of you know, our good friends Dania and Mario and their kids had a very tough year last year and are continuing the cancer fight.  They are the type of generous people who put everyone before themselves, cook for you and ask for nothing in return, give and give...and never ask for help.  But in this case we need to be there for them.  They are currently living off of savings since Mario has not been healthy enough to work for months now and the hospital bills are piling up so anything you can donate is much appreciated.  He was an independent contractor and did not have health insurance.  Mario has had a preliminary surgery to try to stop the cancer cells from spreading and has completed some chemo but has much more chemo and surgeries to go.  Anything you can donate is much appreciated!  For all of you who have already donated in person and at the charity Zumba master class, thank you!  And for anyone who does not personally know them, they have been Sterling residents for many years, they are local :)

Last month I asked you for prayers and kind words and I shared a little of what happened to me and my family during the 2018.  At that time I was waiting for results for my husband’s biopsy. Well he was diagnosed with Metastatic Medullary Colon Cancer! He was in 2 different hospitals for 2 weeks, had a surgery to have a Ileostomy procedure and is now on Chemo treatment for 2 months to try to shrink the tumor in his colon and the damage to his liver and that way get him into surgery for both Colon and Liver. And after that more chemo...  Because he doesn’t have insurance we have to pay for all of his medicine and medical supplies for his Ostomy, there has been no income for 3 months now and we are very limited with money.  And please if you can’t donate, I just want to ask you to keep us in your prayers because I just feel alone in this... and to see my husband very ill is killing me!
