Send Mariachi Viva to Conference

Mariachi Viva , formally known as Albert D. Austin Mariachi Academy, was founded in 1997. We are a not for profit community-based student mariachi academy in the East Valley. Our mission is to preserve the rich musical and cultural heritage of the mariachi while promoting community, responsibility, and educational advancement.   We haven't been able to send our students to the Mariachi Conference that happens in Tucson every April for several years now.  We'd really like to send our students to the Conference this coming year  (April 2017) to learn new songs, meet other students, and increase their love and enjoyment in playing Mariachi music.  Our community is full of great families, but it's also a lower income community so the families can't afford to contribute to the cost of sending the group to the conference.  These students and families, like our community, are steeped in tradition and have a true love  for the music.  Any help to send these deserving kids to the Mariachi Conference this coming April 2017 would be greatly appreciated!
