Mariachi Mestizo @ Kennedy Center

Mariachi Mestizo, a youth ensemble from the small farming community of Delano, CA, has been given the opportunity to perform at the prestigious Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington, DC, on June 18.
This performance will prove to be an invaluable experience in the lives of each one of these young musicians, who have been working incessantly to make it a fine example of musical excellence and artistic determination.
Although Mariachi Mestizo has been raising funds for a whole year, they are still a bit shy from their goal, which needs to cover meals for 22 students, incidentals, and air freight for a mariachi harp and three guitarrones.
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and will get these young ones closer to this once-in-a-life-time experience.
