Alright here we go,
after two years on and off thinking about doing a DTS I am finally doing it. I officially got accepted to do the YWAM (Youth with a Mission) Art DTS (Discipleship training school) in Amsterdam, starting in January.
It has been quite a journey for me to finally deciding to do a DTS and then doing the one in Amsterdam. But to be honest I never have been more content with my decision. It kind of blew off all my plans for the next years, but it’s worth it, beautiful and so needed.

The Program will be 6 Month long and divided into three parts. The lecture phase which will be 12 weeks long is going to be a time where we as a whole January DTS dive deeper into scripture. It will be a time full of worship and growing closer to God.
After that time we will separate into different groups that will go on a 10 week long outreach together. The destination of that trip isn’t known yet but we will most likely get those presented at the beginning of the lecture phase. During that time we will share the message of Jesus in a different nation, step out of our comfort zone and make God known.
The last week will be the debrief phase back in Amsterdam where all the different outreach teams come together and share what they have experienced and what will be next. Everything will be topped of with a graduation on the last day.
The Art aspect about this DTS will be that we have the opportunity to learn about different types of Art in workshops but also just be creative together, to think outside the box, learn new things and learning how we can make art with Jesus. At one point we will also get the chance to display some art work at an exhibition in Amsterdam.
This opportunity is so AMAZING and I still can’t imagine that it is actually happening but to be able to finally go I am in need of some HELP to cover the cost of the whole programm.
The lecture phase will cost 2250 Euros and the outreach phase will approximately be around 2500 - 3000 Euros depending on what destination.
During the next few month I will be working and saving and parallel take some art classes. I also have a little bit of savings I am going to use.
I know I don’t need to worry at all about the costs because God is going to provide. I would be really thankful and excited if you would help me make this dream coming true and joining me on this journey.
