Maria Aponte Fundraiser

Hello Everyone,

My mother, Maria Aponte, has been fighting cancer for over two years. She is so damn strong! Her spirits are still high. As much as I want her around to create more memories,  meet her future grandchildren, retire, grow old.. I know that's not going to happen and I just want the pain inflicted on her to stop. 

We have exhausted all options and it's time we start preparing for the end. She will start hospice care. It’s end of life care. It prepares the person for passing on to and it makes them more comfortable. They will stop treating the cancer and just treat her for pain management.

No more chemo, blood transfusions, or surgeries. It's time for you to rest and be comfortable mama. 

We don't know the exact time it will happen but it won't be long. 

The funeral home is going to charge us $4500 for their services. With so many things going on, my sister and I are not able to afford it. 

We are asking our family and friends to give us a helping hand.
