Margys Medical Expenses and Healing

Donation protected
As many of you know Margy was admitted into the hospital on Sunday August 6th due to not feeling well a few days before. While waiting in the back for the doctor to come in Margy experienced a seizure which luckily her mother Margaret was there for. It was later discovered the Margy had had an aneurysm and was then transported to St Vincent hospital where she continues to stay in the NCCU.

Since being in the NCCU she had had a tube placed in her skull in order to help relief some pressure, it was also discovered that her aneurysm was wide, short and a different shape than normal. They also found that it was loacted in the deepest blood vessel which is the artery that supplies oxygen to the brain stem. Being that it is was in a particularly rough spot it was not a good aneurysm for the invasive surgery or the coils. With that being said the Dr believed the best way to treat it would be a "pipeline embolization device". A stint, mesh-like tube. This procedure was not FDA approved, however before preforming the surgery he informed us that he had performed it almost 100 times and although it may be risky, it would be the least riskiest.

Margy was then placed on bloodthinners and had the procedure completed on Tuesday August 8th. By 11am the Dr came out to inform her family that the procedure went extremely smooth and it could not have gone any better. The next three days will be very crucial. They are hoping to remove her breathing tube sometime tomorrow and start reducing her sedation.

Although things are looking up, there is still a long road ahead that is filled with a lot of unknowingness, stress and piling medical bills. Margy had just been approved for an aparment and was suppose to move in Wednesday of this week which will now have to be placed on hold or completely canceled. She will be out of work for a decent amount of time, yet she will continue to have bills coming in. She also has two children, Sam age 15 and Annabelle age 7 who will continued to be cared for by family members.

With life having to be placed on hold, I would like to spread the word in hopes to help raise money for the medical bills and other expenses that will continue to occur. If you would like to donate it be greatly appreciated by not only Margy, but her family and friends as well. If you are unable to donate, I ask that you share the page in order to help spread the word. Every little bit helps.
