Marcia's fight against Cervical cancer

My friend Marcia Mitchell is in need of your help. On February 14, Marcia(40), her husband Mike(47), her son Issac(13) and her daughter Addison(10) received some devastating news. Marcia has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. On February 27 Marcia, Mike and Terri (Marcia's mom) went to Seattle to see an Oncologist to determine what the next step would be in treatment. While there they learned that she has a tumor with high cancer cells and at this point they believe it is at a stage 2 but they ordered an MRI (which is scheduled for Thursday March 7) and a Pet Scan (which is scheduled for Friday March 8) to confirm this and to make sure it has not spread. During the appointment they discussed the urgency of getting Marcia started on an intense round of both Chemo Therapy and radiation. The Chemo will be once a week for six weeks and the radiation will be once a day for six weeks. Due to up coming travel costs, hotel stays, co-pays($20-$35), meeting the out of network deductible ($15,000.), time off work for both Marcia and Mike as well as their current monthly expenses for a family of four they are very overwhelmed. As it is they live month to month and the upcoming expenses will put them well over what they can afford. Just last year on April 4, Mike suffered a sever heart attack. They were quickly overloaded with medical bills that accumulated to $100,000.00 which resulted in them being forced to file medical bankruptcy. Having just gone through all of that they are worried about how they are going to get through this new battle they are faced with.
