Marcel's Dream

My name is Marcel I am a very keen horse rider and lover of horses.  I was diagnosed with Aspergers, which has a huge effect on the way I see  the world and somtimes on the way the world sees me.


I own my own horse “Sasha” a lovely Quarter horse  who has become my “second” mum. I am member of RDA Victoria and Special Olympics Victoria Barwon region.

I competed at the EV Amature show in the RDA ring in March 2017 with  Sasha for the first time.  I was very reluctant to do this this as I have VERY low self esteem and do not like too much attention and I don't think I am good at anything.
 BUT in the English Equitation event Sasha and I won Gold! 

As a recipient  of a medal I was able to be part of a selection to become a member of the  Victorian Special Olympics team to compete in the National Special Olympics in April 2018. These games are held every 4 years.

And guess what???  I was drawn to go!!!
 I am one of four who will represent Victoria. 

I am asking  for as little or as much help that anyone can afford so I can go to the Nationals.
