Marc Cutright Eagle Scout Service Project T1028

My name is Marc Cutright and I'm currently a Life Scout in Scouts BSA Troop 1028 in Charlottesville, VA.  I'm raising funds to support my approved Eagle Scout service project - a new lost/found area, lifesaving gear organizer, and Little Free Library unit at the Redfields Pool in my community. 

I’ve been living in Redfields for all of my life and have been going to the pool for years on end.  Over this time, I’ve noticed some problems with the pool which I would like to solve with my Eagle Scout service project:

- The lost/found items can’t be seen through the brown plastic lost/found bench and therefore go mostly unclaimed all summer, 

- there is no place for wet lost/found towels,

- the pool library desperately needs an upgrade, and

- the lifeguard equipment does not have a dedicated and easily-visible storage area so that people can find it quickly when needed. 

With my Eagle Scout Service project I hope to address all these issues and make some much-needed improvements at the pool to keep it running smoothly and safely.
