Sky Is Not The Limit- Race for Refugees COVID-19

Friends and Family,

Alongside my work with Hubble Financial , I am honored to help advise and provide support to No Limit Generation (NLG), a technology platform whose mission is to ensure the world’s most vulnerable, displaced children are provided with the care they need to battle COVID-19. For those of you who are not aware, our team received certification in Trauma Healing Practices from Advisors, Dr. Gerbarg and Dr. Brown with BREATH BODY MIND, two pioneers in psychology and integrative medicine who are doing some of the most groundbreaking work in the field for survivors of social and environmental disasters, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the Marine Corps Marathon and the Cherry Blossom Race, I will be running the 2020 Sunset Run for Refugees Virtual 5k. This will be the third race I've run to reach my goal of $10,000 for my fundraising campaign, The Sky Is Not The Limit. With these funds, NLG can continue to expand and provide aid to children who don't have the luxury to practice social distancing during this difficult time.

I am SO CLOSE to hitting my mark, only $1,500 to go! This is the final push. Please help me cross the finish line and donate to my cause. I feel deep gratitude to have you all in my life and to be connected to such a strong and supportive community. Keep looking up!

Ad Astra,

Christine

No Limit Gen's Mission is to support refugee and displaced children Rise and Thrive.
Here's How:

Over the past year, more than 1 Million Rohingya refugees traversed the monsoon rains and bloodied fields of Myanmar into Bangladesh’s overcrowded refugee camps. Over 60% of them are children, many of whom have been orphaned and made the long trek alone. Their small bodies have told stories of starvation, torture, and rape.

Displaced children have endured so much: Their homes, supportive environments, and in many cases their families and primary caregivers have been lost. They are particularly vulnerable to exploitation, violence, and sexual abuse. One year in and 50% of the Rohingya children ages 3-15 still do not have access to safe, healing spaces.

The impact of violence, loss, and displacement can have a profound negative impact on the healthy  development of the child.  As a consequence their ability to form healthy relationships, engage with education, and make healthy decisions is impaired. This is why the cycle of violence, instability, and poverty all too often seal the fate of refugees and displaced people.

These children are not defined by their past or their traumas. Having worked with hundreds of Rohingya children over the last year, we believe in the  unlimited potential that exists within each one of them. Join us in our mission to help them heal, and rise to their full potential.
