Colectiva Cosmica is curating our 2nd art show ~ Manitas: an Art Show honoring Sisterhood to open on Friday, November 10th at Sol Collective community space in Sacramento, CA.
Manitas seeks to explore and honor the sacred relationships between sisters/ hermanas. Sisters, blood or chosen, are our family. We take care of one another, we support one another throughout life, we trust each other. This exhibition seeks to include work that responds to the theme of sisterhood/ sisters, as well as work that touches on our own experiences and relationships in a way that resonates collectively with other sisters/ hermanitas.
The show will include works by several artists from LA, NY, Bay Area, and TX.
We are asking friends and family members to help us by contributing to the costs associated with printing the zine catalog of the show.
Donations of $10 or more will receive a copy of the zine!
Any amount would be greatly appreciated as it is difficult to pay these costs on our own.
