Mango Hill House Fire Tragedy

Today, 16th of October our good friend lost everything, his house, cars and belongings and tragically his 2 beloved dogs to a house fire in Mango Hill (North Lakes)
Very lucky to escape with a friend and his 14 month old daughter.
He has lost everything, the fire was so quick he had no time to grab his car keys or phone and barely made it through the flames whilst shielding his daughter as he was nursing an injury he sustained last week.
My friend is an upstanding citizen of the community, just last week while swimming at Kondalilla Falls in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland he risked his life jumping from a cliff to save a girl that had fallen into the water and was unconscious. He sustained a big gash to his leg which needed stitches.
This unfortunately ruined his plans of joining the Australian Sumo wrestling team in Japan this week for the world championships as he was still nursing his injuries at home.
He is a passionate martial artist and gymnast and is well regarded in the local martial arts community.
We are hoping that with this page we can raise enough funds to help him and his family get back on their feet through this tragic event.
