Mandy’s Fearless Fight

Donation protected

Friends and Family,

On May 17th, Mandy’s 25th birthday, she was out with her family when she got a call from her doctor. He told her that her recent test results had come back and she needed to get to the hospital right away. She had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and needed to get started on IV steroids immediately.

Many of you may not be aware, but she has been quietly battling severe symptoms for the past 3 months. It started with hand tremors, then numbness in her feet, which spread all the way up to her thighs. She has also been experiencing uncontrollable rapid eye movements and pain in her back and side.

Since her diagnosis, her doctors have determined that she has Primary Progressive MS. This is the worst type of MS a person can have, and it is actively attacking her brain stem. She has been admitted to the hospital and assigned a nurse who is watching over her 24 hours a day, while they desperately try to slow down the progression.

Mandy will be in the hospital for at least the next two weeks, and out of work for an indefinite amount of time. Please consider donating whatever you can, so that she doesn’t need to worry about her finances while working so hard to pull through this terrifying and life-altering diagnosis.

Thank you!
