Mancuso Strong

As many of you may know, one of our local families, the Mancuso family, was in a horrific accident while traveling to Illinois to celebrate a special occasion with some dear friends. In an instant, life as they have known it came to a complete halt. Luckily Damien and Makayla had minor bumps and bruises, and Michael sustained some minor injuries. Jackie and Nico, although lucky to be alive, suffered more substantial injuries. Nico was brought to Chicago Children's Hospital for emergency surgery while Jackie stayed in an Indiana hospital with debilitating fractures to say the least. Thank goodness for the love and support of their family and close friends! With everyone pitching in, they were able to get most of the family home, while Jackie continues to heal in Indiana...for now.

The concern here is how this STRONG and BRAVE family can move forward. Of course we KNOW physically it will take time...but often the financial struggles remain long after the physical pain is gone. Their home needs to be revamped for Jackie and Nico. Jackie has a long road ahead just to walk again, let alone work, pay these astronomical medical bills, and help support their family. This is where we come in. What can WE do to help make there lives of this family easier? Every little bit counts to help them rebuild the life they had and to help keep the lives of their children normal. Please consider being MANCUSO STRONG!
