Man & His Seizure Dog Need Help

Hello Family and Friends. Fortunes have certainly changed for the worse in life, and I question whether it is all worth it or not at times. I am not allowed to have Merry at the shelter (IHS), and the last 5 days in the psych ward were restful for me, but Merry was taken from me and sent to The Humane Shelter. I retrieved her as soon as I was released and it is obvious that she has not been fed. She is out of food, and I am out of everything.
Many of you are already aware that Merry, my Seizure Alert and Response Dog, and I have been living on the streets. We are trying to raise enough money to stay in a semi-private bedroom in a hostel here for one month. I am unable to work, and ever since my housing aid was terminated, we have been in bad shape. I have lost nearly thirty pounds and I struggle to keep Merry fed. Many of you have already been too kind to us...even to your own detriment. I am humiliated having to request your aid at this time.

Swallowing my pride by beginning this campaign is the only way that we can get "back on track". There is a bed available for one month at this hostel and the price is 1,000.00. I would be overwhelmed and terribly grateful to any soul who might be able to make a small contribution towards this month in an actual warm bed. I have no means of repaying you other than in my prayers. I expect to be able to find some type of work in the future, but at this time our desperate need to get food and a warm, safe place to sleep is our priority.
