Malibu fire recovery fund

 Hello, we are Mark and Melissa. We are currently reeling from the devastation of the Woolsey fire in Malibu.  Early Friday morning we escaped the utter destruction of our home. Despite attempting to save the property with just hoses and buckets; in the end we were fortunate to get out with our lives, our dogs and just a few family photographs...we lost everything.  To make matters worse, the non profit nature preserve property where we live and Melissa works was also destroyed.  Unfortunately, there is no insurance coverage to recover our losses. The magnitude of personal and financial loss can't be fully comprehended or processed. Many of you have asked how you could help during this difficult time. This situation is extremely humbling, however any donation big or small to help start over and establish some normalcy is much appreciated. We are thankful to be alive and well and pray for continued strength and healing for all those impacted by the CA wildfires.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Anything beyond what we need to get back on our feet will be donated to the non profit land trust.
