Malaysian Dogs Journey to US

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better(MDDB) is a non profit animal rescue group in Malaysia that is needing help to bring a few Malaysian dogs to the US to their forever homes. Street dogs in Malaysia are treated very badly due to social and religious prosecution. Feeders and rescuers are frustrated, depressed overwhelmed especially since all the government does is provide dog catchers that abuse, kill the dogs on sight or dump them in overcrowded pounds where the dogs suffer and killed. MDDB does not receive any funding and only function with the help of volunteers and a handful of donors. It is very hard to adopt out a street dog in Malaysia because most locals want purebred dogs. And the amount of strays continue to rise as locals either don’t want to spay/ neuter their pets or don’t believe in the concept. MDDB needs help to bring a handful of dog here so they have a chance at having a happy forever home. And most of all to just be loved.
