Making Climate Change a priority!

As many of you know, I have made Climate Change mitigation my main focus in life. Our carbon levels affect everything I care about: children, animals, nature, health and social justice.  After my trip to LA , I joined two local groups to make political change on both local and national levels.

I was invited to join Citizens' Climate Lobby  this November to be trained and meet as part of a large group with our Representatives on their first day back in session when they are focused on setting priorities. 

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. 

While CCL was kind enough to offer a small stipend towards the trip, I need to pay most of the airfare and hotel costs myself in order to attend. If you support these efforts, I would appreciate any help, no matter what amount. 

I'm doing what I can to minimize my costs such as sharing a hotel room for the 3 night stay.

I simply don't have the funds right now to do this without help. I've never asked for donations like this before, and I know there are so many worthy causes, but I am challenging myself to make this happen! Thank you so much for your help.
