Making a difference in Cambodia!

Hello!


We are a group of nursing students who have chosen to participate in a volunteer placement in a small village situated just outside Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh. Throughout this placement we are partaking in physical health assessments on numerous primary school aged children, identifying those at risk and providing them with the resources and relevant education to help promote their overall health status and quality of life.   


We would love to be able to provide these people with the resources that will assist them in continuing to maintain optimal health after we leave, therefore are raising funds to help with such. Whether it be equipment, accessibility to clean water, nutritional food, hygiene products, medications or contributing to the salaries of essential healthcare professionals. Small simple efforts can go a long way in such a rural and remote community.


We all can’t wait to make a difference throughout their community and contribution to our fundraising efforts will be greatly appreciated.
