Makersmiths new Leesburg makerspace

Makersmiths is a Loudoun County non-profit that helps people make things. Learn more via the video that Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce did about us recently:

We are raising funds to help us move into a larger space.  Right now we operate a 3,000 sq foot facility open to the community, with tools for wood working, metal working, 3D printing, electronics, laser cutting, CNC, crafts and more.

But we have run out of room!

Right now our warehouse is full of tools for the community to use, but we don't have the space in our current facility to house this new equipment.

We'd like to meet our goal by the end of September so that we can sign a lease for the old LoudounCares building in downtown Leesburg.  Not only will this allow us more space for the additional tools, it will weave us into the downtown community, and diversify what downtown Leesburg has to offer to area residents.
