#MakeAGesture: Msandaka School for the Deaf

Close the Gap starts an original campaign: #MakeAGesture.
Together with 4 well-known Flemish people, they ask to make a gesture for Msandaka. This school in Tanzania takes 120 speaking and hearing impaired children out of their social isolation and offers them specially adapted primary education. With new investments, they want to start offering a further professional education so that these children can build a better future for themselves.

Msandaka started in 2000 with one classroom for children with a hearing impairment. It grew to be an example of inclusion, with 120 enthusiastic speaking and hearing impaired children. Anna, Hawa Lodric, Sara and many more children share their dream in sign language: they want to have a job. Msandaka gives these children an education and hope. The only thing that is still missing is further support in teaching them a profession. And that's where you can help: with your support Msandaka can build a Vocational Training Centre for these children.
