Following the registration by the Electoral Commission of the Sovereign Movement as a political party called The Compass Party, this campaign is now closed.

There would be no case for the existence of any political party if there was no democracy. However, when democracy is corroded by a progressive failure of adequate representation of the people by the existing main parties and partisan interests become self-serving, the recourse is indeed the establishment of a new political force to expunge the corruption and to re-calibrate the system.
Over the 45 years that Britain has been in the European Common Market, the association that facilitated trading within an economic zone has developed a political ambition to become a fully fledged federal union. In the process, British sovereignty has become subsumed under the European Union. Today, we are in the midst of extricating ourselves from this constraining monstrosity.
The reasons why the United Kingdom is facing difficulties in leaving the European Union are quite clear. There has been relentless attrition of patriotism, progressive loss of self-confidence and over-dependence on a supranational bureaucracy that is virtually a superstate.
These factors led to the formation of Sovereign, a people’s popular and patriotic movement. It is a simple but powerful expression that seeks not only national independence but also much needed socio-economic revival.
This appeal for donation is therefore crucial to realising the people’s hopes and aspirations. Registration of the movement as a political entity has recently been granted by the Electoral Commission. It will be launched at the end of April 2019.
With your generous support, I will continue to support the movement and I will seek to represent the decent and hardworking people of the United Kingdom and restore their national pride and dignity.
