Our Mission:
MAINELY GIRLS is a nonprofit organization based in Aroostook County that supports girls by creating empowering opportunities through arts and adventure-based activities, bookclubs, mentorships and civics initiatives. Our mission is to work proactively in rural communities and at the state level to effect positive change in the lives of girls.
Our Need:
OUR SECOND ANNUAL SPRING CONFERENCE ~ for 8th and 9th grade girls is being planned for June 1+2, an overnight at the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI), with speakers, workshops, and time for the girls to connect with one another. We are in the process of visiting schools and singing up 70 girls from Aroostook County!
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to help us with the costs of materials, insurances, food, and workshops for the conference. Your tax-deductible contribution is very much appreciated!
