Mahlet and Grandma Tsega Fund

It is with great sadness we inform you  about the passing of  Mahlet Alebachew and Grandma Tsega Balcha in Dallas yesterday June 22, 2018. Tarikua's and Addisu lost their precious 10 yrs old daughter, Mahlet, and Tarikua's mother to a drowing accident. Grandma Tsega lost her life trying to rescue  her granddaughter from drowning in the neighborhood pool.  Mahlet was a beautiful, vibrant and loving daughter with developmental disability.  Grandma Tsega was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who came to the US to help her daughter Tarikua. The family is going through unimaginable grief. The family needs financial support to travel to  Ethiopia to put their bodies to rest. Tarikua and Addisu have three younger daughters who will be traveling with them for the funeral. Addissu  has not been able to work the last few years due to orthopedic impairment and complication from surgery.
