Maha's Life Saving Fund

Mahajabeen (Maha) is 38 years old and has three beautiful sons aged under 12 and a loving husband. She lives in Dublin, Ireland.

Maha was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in June 2016. This is third occurrence of breast cancer which first occurred in 2011 and then returned in 2015. Chemotherapy treatment was provided on the first and second time with some success on those occasions. However, since the tumour returned in 2016, it has showed no response to conventional chemotherapy and Maha has recently started on palliative chemotherapy; however, this treatment is not going well.

Maha has been very brave throughout her cancer ordeal and she has been loving supported by her husband and three sons. When the cancer returned in 2016 Maha decided that she wasn’t going to surrender to the disease. She knew that she could heal her body and survive the diagnosis. Maha therefore began treating her body with natural alternative treatments such as sodium bicarbonate, high doses of vitamins, natural supplements, cannabis oil and other remedies. While Maha experienced some relief from these treatments, recent scans have showed no shrinkage in the cancer tumour.

Maha is determined to overcome her diagnosis and she does not want to succumb to the inevitable outcome of palliative chemotherapy. Maha has identified a specialist breast cancer clinic with a demonstrated success record in Istanbul. To receive a treatment programme there Maha’s family needs to raise €100,000.
