I hope this finds you well. My name is Magnolia Lafleur and I have a traveling paint and sip art company that focuses on not just teaching great paintings but we aid in helping people improve their process and focus on mindfulness and self-reflection. I have done art parties for non-profits, rehab centers, schools, private homes and corporate companies such as Google, Redbull and Adidas and have conducted art parties via zoom all over the world and in person California and in Austin, Texas. I am raising money to begin the process of making my company a mobile paint company.
1st Stage of the Business Plan:
WHAT I'M AIMING FOR: I'm currently aiming to get 25k by November 15th to help with the expansion of my business, including a marketing team and to begin getting supplies for my mobile bus.
2nd Stage of the Business Plan :PURCHASING A SPRINTER VAN CONVERSION or fully converted Skoolie + $5k for Van wrap/ designs and compartment storage areas.

While I am a Painter, I have spent most of my life also as a Professional Track & Field Athlete running for Trinidad & Tobago. I was born in Sacramento, CA and was raised in Guadalajara, Mexico and Omaha, Nebraska to a Panamanian mother and Trinidadian father.
I really enjoy conducting my art classes to bring people together with one common ground, art and the creative process. Unity is something we need right now and I would like to be someone that can bring happiness to others and unity one art event at a time.
I am using the paint & sip classes as a way to teach people to be stronger mentally by giving them tools during the paint session that I have used to being one of the top competing athletes in the world. Helping to strengthen people's ability to create their reality in life and give them tools to self-reflect allows people to leave all my paint events not just with a new painting but with a new outlook on how to tackle life and process. I have the distinct ability to read people's personality traits by just looking at their paintings, and I have utilized this as a means
to aid people in strengthening their bond with themselves and their ability to create things.
The total I'm trying to raise for my 1st round is 16k so that I may take my business to a level that I am able to offer on-the-go, outdoor art events in Los Angeles by expanding my marketing outreach and accessibility.
The pandemic has put a pause on my business and has affected my business's current transportation, and so the amount raised will aid in building my business up post-pandemic.

The long-term goal from this is to purchase a Sprinter Travel van so that I may station my company at various locations around California and, eventually, different states. Much like a food truck, I would like to take my traveling art company to different locations including low-income areas in order to provide people with this art and life rejuvenating experience. With Covid impacting the world,
I feel it most imperative to provide an outdoor
experience that does not all require in home visits whilst ensuring art and aiding in mindfulness is not neglected during this time.
Art classes have been in decline around the U.S and many parents are trying to ensure their kids still have access to art as well as adults who need creative outlets and tools to create a stronger self during these uncertain times. By getting the Sprinter I will be able to travel locations near and far and hold these events in a safe, clean space outside of people's work spaces or home spaces to ensure a covid friendly environment. I want to be able to bring art classes and events to people's work place, homes and neighborhoods, like an ice-cream truck brining joy & optimism minus the cavities.:)
I was training for my last Olympic trials in Austin, Texas under the head Olympic track coach for Team USA when Covid cancelled & postponed the Olympics from 2020 to 2021. I decided to drive back to Los Angeles from Austin, Texas and focus on my company as I found that I could be more of service to the community through Art On The Run then as a continued Professional Athlete. I really want to make a difference and have the mobility to make this the first paint company that brings communities, families and strangers together no matter where they are located while abating anyone's fear over covid.
I established my company in 2017 and you can find comments on YELP to get an indication of the type of impact it has on people's lives. Creativity is important as it aids people in finding ways to overcome their pain, fears or stuck feelings, and by offering a on the go art service I would be aiding in elevating people's hope and happiness as well as uniting people with themselves and fellow man. Thank you for your consideration and I hope I am able to get funds for my business that I have put a lot of work, sweat and tears into over the years.
