Maggie Comfort Dog Hurricane Relief

After a disaster, there are moments when the emotional needs are real, and the physical ones cannot be addressed yet. We have experienced those moments here in Newtown. This is such a moment in Houston.

We all are praying for the people of Houston. Maggie and some of her handlers have the chance to pray with the people of Houston! Lutheran Church Charities is one of the organizations that is working with people in shelters and as they return to their homes... using the comforting presence of a furry friend to help ease difficult times.

Your donation will support the travel costs for Maggie and her team. If we can exceed the goal, it will allow further visits both in the short- and long-term.

All funds will be handled by Maggie's church, Christ the King Lutheran Church, Newtown, CT.
